Cancellation Policy

Booking information

Please note that we can only take a booking if it is made at least two days prior to check in.

Self check-in anytime after 15:00. You get your PIN Code via Email for the door opening one day before your arrival via email. The code is valid until check-out time at 11:00 next day.

Please note that we are not a hotel and this is a non-serviced area.

The Lodge is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults.

There is no breakfast provided in the price. Included in the price is VAT 11%, the tourism tax, free wifi, coffee and tea as much as you want, 2 towels per person and a fully equipped kitchen and final cleaning of the house and pool.

We do not take any responsibility if the hot pool can not be used due to force majeure like heavy storms or volcanic eruptions etc, therefore it is not possible to claim a refund for not being able to use it.

Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. is not responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in the Lodges.

If you cause any damage to the property/lodge we will put you into account of this right after your stay. If you damage something from the kitchen or any dishes, please replace them by yourself and you won’t get charged for it.

Cancellation policy

You can cancel your reservation until 30 days prior to check in free of charge (minus a 25€  (Euro) processing fee that always has to be paid when canceling or changing a booking).
If you cancel from 29 until 20 days in advance, we charge a non-refundable fee of 25% from the total booking price. If you cancel 20 until 10 days in advance we charge a non-refundable fee of 50% from the total booking price. For less than 10 days in advance the booking cost is non-refundable. Non-refundable fees can not be used as a credit for a later booking.

Changing your booking to other dates less than 30 days prior to check-in is not possible without getting charged. Same rules as for cancellation applies in this case (fee of 25-100%). Non-refundable fees can not be used as a credit for a later booking.

Refund will always be paid back exactly the way you paid it. No other transfer to other accounts or credit cards is allowed for security reasons. When you get a refund from us it will take 5-7 business days for processing the transaction.

Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. reserves the right to cancel bookings if there are some unforseenable conditions like dangerous storms or closed roads to the Lodge, heavy snow or technical issues etc wo makes it impossible to stay at the Lodge. You will get your full refund in this case.

Special COVID cancellation policy:

if you need to cancel your booking due to COVID issues (Cancelled flight or travel restrictions or positive test result and so on) we only charge a non-refundable 25% of the total amount for a cancellation up to 3 days before arrival. If you need to cancel less than 3 days before arrival we only charge 50% of the total amount. These fees are non-refundable and can not be used as a credit for a later booking.

You can cancel up to 30 days before check in day free of charge. A 25€ (Euros) processing fee always has to be paid when cancelling a reservation.

Please note if you want to reschedule a booking less than 30 days prior to check in the same rule as for a cancellation is valid (25% or 50% fee of the total amount, not possible to use as a later credit for a booking). So we ask you to book your new dates yourself once you have received the refund after the cancellation.

If you get a refund from us it will take 6-7 business days for processing the transaction.
