We are incredibly excited to unveil that the Panorama Glass Lodge is adding 3 new lodges in West Iceland, close to the picturesque town of Borgarnes, with unparalleled views of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula (you may even get a glimpse of the mighty Snaefellsjökull glacier on a clear day)
At only a 1 hour drive from Reykjavík our guests will be able to enjoy the Panorama Glass Lodge from an entirely new perspective.
Located at the waters edge, this immaculate location boasts scenic views combining beautiful cliffs, towering mountains, and a gentle stream that runs by the lodges. Also, in the late summer this location is surrounded by a beautiful mixture of floral arctic thyme and wild blueberries.
The land covers 200’000 sqm (49.5 acres) and will include one larger premium lodge suitable for families and larger groups, which will be able to sleep up to 5 (or 6 if travelling with a baby or small child up to 3 years old with a cot on site), as well as a series of our standard Glass Lodges all with perfect seclusion.
Our premium lodge will feature a larger kitchen (with a dishwasher), bathroom, and hot tub with every detail coordinated closely by our team to ensure a wonderfully luxurious experience for all of our guests.
The premium lodge will also be built with wheelchair accessibility in mind, to ensure everyone is able to enjoy our lodges.
We took a great deal of time to decide on the perfect spot for our next location to ensure we retained the tranquility of rural Iceland and the raw surrounding nature. This ensures that all of our guests staying at any of the lodges will enjoy the same unmatched experience.
At present, we have not confirmed an opening date, but are hopeful of releasing the 2023 bookings in fall 2022.
If you’d like to stay informed and be at the front of queue for when our new lodges will be available from, then please sign up to our mailing list today.
We are hopeful to welcome our first guests to our latest Panorama Glass Lodge’s in January 2023.
