Termos e Política de Cancelamento
Todos os hóspedes deverão receber o recibo de confirmação logo após a reserva. Se você não recebê-lo, é sua responsabilidade contact us então para corrigir quaisquer erros que possam ter ocorrido.
Check-in e check-out
Self check-in anytime after 16:00. You get your PIN Code for the door opening one day before your arrival via email. The code is valid until check-out time at 11:00 next day.
Caso necessite de check-in antecipado ou check-out tardio, está sujeito à disponibilidade e será cobrada uma taxa por hora. Caso você fique mais tempo do que o horário previamente reservado, reservamo-nos o direito de cobrar mais uma hora em seu cartão de crédito. Check-ins antecipados ou check-outs tardios podem ser adquiridos e reservados no site da nossa loja, com no máximo 4 semanas de antecedência.
Não somos um hotel, e esta é uma área sem serviço e recepção.
Regras do cancelamento
Você pode cancelar sua reserva até 30 dias antes do check-in gratuitamente (menos uma taxa de processamento de 35 EUR do nosso provedor de pagamento que sempre deve ser paga no momento do cancelamento de uma reserva). A taxa de 35€ também se aplica se reservou duas noites e deseja cancelar uma dessas duas noites.
Se cancelar com 29 a 15 dias de antecedência, cobraremos uma taxa não reembolsável de 25% do valor total da reserva. Se cancelar com 15 a 10 dias de antecedência, cobraremos uma taxa não reembolsável de 50% do valor total da reserva.
PARA CANCELAMENTOS MENOS DE 10 DIAS ANTES DO CHECK IN, O CUSTO DE RESERVA DE 100% NÃO É REEMBOLSÁVEL.
Não há reembolso por “no show” – isso conta para problemas de horário de voo, quebras de carro, doença, estradas fechadas ou problemas climáticos, acidentes, conflitos de horário ou quaisquer outros motivos pelos quais você não pode comparecer aos nossas cabanas no momento do check-in dia. Nenhum reembolso é emitido para saída antecipada pelos mesmos motivos acima mencionados.
Podemos fornecer-lhe uma fatura para o seu agencia de seguro de viagem.
Taxas não reembolsáveis não podem ser usadas como crédito para uma reserva posterior.
Não é possível alterar a sua reserva para outras datas com menos de 30 dias antes do check-in sem cobrança. Neste caso aplicam-se as mesmas regras de cancelamento (taxa de 25-100%). Taxas não reembolsáveis não podem ser usadas como crédito para uma reserva posterior. Só alteramos as datas de reserva com um máximo de 2 anos de antecedência em relação à data original da reserva. Se desejar alterar para uma data mais futura, não podemos garantir o mesmo preço da sua reserva inicial e, portanto, cancelaremos a reserva e você a reservará novamente separadamente.
O reembolso sempre será pago exatamente da maneira que você pagou. Nenhuma outra transferência para outras contas ou cartões de crédito é permitida por razões de segurança. Quando você receber um reembolso nosso, levará de 7 a 10 dias úteis para processar a transação.
Tenha em atenção que poderá haver diferenças cambiais quando receber o seu reembolso e tiver um cartão que não cobra € (Euros). Isso depende da operadora/banco do seu cartão.
Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. reserva-se o direito de cancelar reservas, quando não for possível fornecer os serviços da empresa devido a evento de força maior/caso fortuito, como, mas não se limitando a, condições climáticas, greves, desastres naturais ou qualquer outra irregularidade fora do controle da empresa. No caso de Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. precisar cancelar uma reserva em seu nome, o Panorama Glass Lodge pagará um reembolso ao cliente.
Se Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. precisa limitar uma reserva ou serviço devido a problemas técnicos ou serviços limitados no Lodge, um reembolso parcial será pago de acordo com a gravidade do problema.
Panorama Glass Lodge reserva-se o direito de atualizar/fazer alterações nestas políticas de reserva e cancelamento sem aviso prévio.
Drone Flying Rules
The most important thing when it comes to drones is to respect the privacy of the other guests, just as you would like your privacy to be respected. This is why our drone flying rules are rather strict.
- Fly time only between 10AM and 8PM
- Radius 10m from your lodge
- It is strictly forbidden to fly close to other Lodges or up high
Airline cancellations follow our general cancellation terms and losses are not covered by Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. Please look into purchasing travel insurance if you are concerned about airline cancellations due to weather, delays/missed flights, and/or airline companies closing/canceling flight destinations.
Safety standards and liability
Panorama Glass Lodge ehf is not responsible for any loss, damage, sickness, injury, damage, accident, or changes in schedule caused by Force Majeure event such as but not limited to weather, strikes, natural disasters, or any other irregularity outside the company’s control and for expenses due to any of these reasons. All such losses and expenses are the personal liability of the guest.
It is strongly recommended for all guests to purchase travel insurance before coming to Iceland, or any foreign country. This type of insurance can cover you for emergencies, accidents, and costs caused by needing to cancel trips/tours at last minute.
When entering our facilities, guests assume full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of those in their care.
To ensure your safety and to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, we ask you to pay special attention to the following:
- Shower without a swimsuit before entering the hot tub.
- It is recommended that guests take regular breaks (15-minute intervals) from the hot
tub and sauna. Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated.
- Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. is not responsible for valuables. Guests are solely responsible for their own belongings.
- There is no lifeguard or other safety surveilling at the lodges. While in the lodges you
are responsible for your own safety and others in your care.

The gift voucher is non-refundable, meaning it has no cash value, and can only be transferred among our products.
The gift voucher is valid for a stay up to two years from purchase date. Please note that for public holidays or special dates like holiday season (Christmas time, New Years etc) there is always a on top rate that needs to be paid. The per night rate is calculated for the standard rate during the year.
It is possible to prolongen a gift voucher, but the amount to which the voucher was purchased is only valid for a maximum of two years. A price difference to the actual nightly rate must be paid if a client wants to prolongen the voucher. There is always a raise in prices between the years.
Travelling with children
We can provide a travel baby cot for children up to 3 years/15kg.
The standard Lodge is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults. The premium/Family Lodge is suitable for a maximum of 5 adults. We do not have a license to allow children older than 3 years in a standard lodge with two adults. For Families with kids we have designed our Family Lodge Frigg and this Lodge is perfect for Families and kids needs.
Children under the age of 12 years must be always accompanied by an adult guardian during their visit.
The Lodges are totally non-smoking area, including terraces. If smoking occurs in a Lodge or the terrace, the guest will be assessed a charge of 300 EUR.
Cleaning of the lodges is included in the nightly rate. However, in case of an excessive mess we reserve the right to charge an extra cleaning fee of 80 EUR.
Photographs & audiovisual content
Photographs, films or social content taken at Panorama Glass Lodges cannot be used for any commercial purposes without prior written consent from Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. Please get in touch with us to discuss this matter. We reserve the right to seek compensation for any use which is contrary to our conditions.
Volcanic eruptions / Closed roads / Storm
Volcanic eruptions occur frequently in Iceland. In the majority of cases it does not interrupt flights from or to Iceland at all, it is at all times safe to visit and travel around Iceland and to visit our Lodges. We do not have adapted cancellation policies in case of Volcanic eruptions, even if they would interrupt air traffic – then it counts as majeure force and no one is responsible for this. No refunds will be paid out in such a case.
Roads can get closed during winter months every now and then due to snow or storm. Usually there are detour ways to drive and it is also only a matter of a few hours when a road closure occurs.
If you are stuck somewhere else in Iceland (for example the capital, Vik, the east or other location that is a longer drive away) and our roads are open, there is no refund paid. We recommend planning ahead, storms are always on forecast around 2-3 days ahead of time. It is advised to stay in the surrounding area the night before and after if there is a heavy storm coming up. Do not take/plan long journeys during winter months.
Do not book a stay at the lodges in winter if you plan to fly back early the next day or arrive the same day, you risk to get stuck because of closed roads. You may adjust your travel plans and check road conditions beforehand. The guests are responsible by themselves to check on possible road closures and take a detour or wait a few hours until the road opens again.
In case the road to our Lodges is closed and Panorama Glass Lodge employees can’t get there to clean the lodges due to the closures, Panorama Glass Lodge will refund the full amount to the guest in this case. For reference, such an event happens a maximum of 1 or 2 times per year in extreme arctic hurricanes with huge loads of snow. Otherwise, when it is possible to get to the Lodges and everything is ready for the guests but the guests can’t make it – there will be no refund paid.
Lost / forgotten items
Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. is not responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in the Lodges. You have the possibility to pick up your lost/forgotten items up to 7 days after your check-out. After that timeframe we collect all items and bring it to the red cross regularly or other facilities who can need electronical devices or clothes.
We do not have space to store it for a longer time. In case you want to have your lost items shipped, you pay for the postal and packaging fees prior to shipping plus a 35€ fee for the time effort. We cannot guarantee a fast shipping as we need to drive to the capital for international shipments.
Damage to the property / Theft
If you cause any damage to the property/lodge (like fire on the terrace, damage of interior, broken windows or roller blinds, massive stains on the bedding and mattress etc) we will put you into account for this right after your stay and charge your credit card on file with a note about the damage/theft and a receipt of the original worth of the item. A photo is always taken from a staff member of Panorama Glass Lodge from the damaged item for proof.
The same rule goes for stolen items from the Lodges (such as bathrobes, decoration art items, bedding, appliances, electrical devices etc). Our staff knows our interior very well and they notify us straight away if something is missing. Thank you for treating our property like you would do it with your home.
Nightly rates and payment terms
Panorama Glass Lodge ehf. reserves the right to change its rates in case of economic changes, including, but not limited to, currency fluctuations, inflations, increased cost of supplies, tax changes and other force majeure events. In case of VAT or other tax changes, the client contract prices will change accordingly. Price change affected by tax changes will apply to all reservations, although reservation has been confirmed on previous prices or payment has already been made. Above rates are valid for the above dates and; inclusive of VAT. They are subject to any official tax changes.
